Welcome to my conscious wellness practice, Tend.
I am a stress reduction specialist and wellness coach offering one-on-one, group and corporate coaching sessions (both online and off) to help you melt away stress, get fit and make sustainable lifestyle adjustments for wellbeing. What is Conscious Wellness?
It starts with a commitment to yourself. You have a strong desire to improve your life and you make conscious choices to get there. As your wellness coach, I help you set new intentions and goals. Together, we alleviate stress and cultivate self-awareness of your body and mind via fitness training, breathwork, guided meditation, clean eating and other proven stress reduction techniques.
I approach wellness through the lens of bio-individuality. This means that no two people are the same, everyone’s needs and preferences are unique. There is no one-size-fits-all fitness routine, diet or way to unwind. Together, we identify what techniques and routines resonate with you, then I guide you on your unique path to wellness.
I take the time to understand your history, where you are on your journey and where you would like to be. Maybe you want to get fit, lose weight or learn more about eating clean. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed and need to de-stress and create more balance in your life. Whatever your obstacles, let’s talk and discover how I can support you.

Conscious Fitness
I work with people who want to start an exercise practice or who already have one but want a coach for guidance and motivation. When you work with me, you get to know your body in a new way. I will design a fitness program specifically targeted to your goals and the needs of your body. Working with gravity and your body’s weight, we get moving with calisthenics, core training, HIIT circuits to low-impact resistance training, deep stretching and restorative sessions. You’ll find that each time we meet, I’m guided by the state of your body and spirit on any given day.
*Private individual or group sessions.

Integrative Health Coaching
What is a Health Coach?
An Integrative Health Coach listens deeply and guides you towards making sustainable lifestyle shifts to benefit your overall well being. If you feel stuck or stressed in any area of your life we go deep to identify the source of your feelings and make incremental corrections so you can reach your true potential. Let’s get you feeling whole again.
*My program, “Conscious Coaching” lasts 6 months (with a 3 month commitment) as the benefits of true, lasting change can take time to manifest. Keep going after 6 months if you want to go deeper!

HeartMath Resilience Coach
For more than 25 years, HeartMath Institute has been researching the heart-brain connection and learning how the heart influences our perceptions, emotions, intuition and health. HeartMath helps you tap into the power and intelligence of your heart – your heart’s intuition – which awakens you to the best version of yourself. HeartMath Institute’s research demonstrates that different patterns of heart activity have different effects on your thoughts and behaviors. Learn the scientific principles of heart intelligence plus multiple techniques for bringing heart and mind into coherence to respond to daily challenges with more ease, awareness, balance and clear discernment.
*The HeartMath coaching program is a 4-week commitment with an option to continue after the initial training.

Pranayama & Breathwork
According to BKS Iyengar, Prana means breath, respiration, life, vitality, energy or strength, it has many manifestations in the body. And, Pranayama means the prolongation of the breath and its restraint. During pranayama breathing exercises we aim to invoke any number of different states in the body ranging from stress reduction, mental clarity to energy enhancement.
70% of the body’s waste is eliminated through the breath! Most of us aren’t breathing properly which traps toxins in the body and keeps us in a constant state of stress.
Through my yogic training in Pranayama techniques and Kundalini Kriyas as well as studying under master breath coach Dan Brulé, I’ll help you become more aware of your breath (and breathing habits) and how you can use it to enhance your overall wellbeing.

Yoga Nidra/NSDR
Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Derived from an ancient tantric tradition, students learn to reach a state of dynamic sleep. During the practice, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness. Students lie down or sit comfortably in a chair and are led through a guided meditation by the practitioner. A regular practice of Yoga Nidra has shown to improve sleep, reduce stress, increase productivity and lower blood pressure and inflammation in the body. One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 4 hours of deep, restful sleep.The American Neuroscientist Andrew Hubermann attests to the cognitive benefits of Yoga Nidra and coined the term Near Sleep Deep Rest .

Hatha Yoga
I am trained in the Iyengar lineage of Yoga. This asana system is the most commonly used worldwide and allows for the use of props for adjustments. In Iyengar yoga, the focus is on stamina, flexibility and proper alignment. Transitions between poses are carefully sequenced with reference to the movement of the joints, all with the aim of avoiding injury. In my classes I like to focus on strength and balance, bringing my students to a more centered connection with their bodies.
